AED, or Associated Equipment Distributors, is the leading trade association for construction equipment dealers.

AED is the leading trade association for equipment dealers, including hundreds of members.

Which manufacturers do AED members carry and sell?

Manufacturers include:

What other services does the AED provide?

The AED provides “20 Groups”, which are advisory peer groups for non-competing dealers to meet, connect and discuss challenges, executive to executive.

AED also provides:

  • Benchmarking Reports: cost reports and rental reports are common
  • Industry Reports: macro in nature, often these reports focus on workforce retention, training and growth

 

Does AED have any events?

Their flagship event is known as the AED Summit, held in January annually. It is most commonly located in Chicago, where AED’s primary office is located. The AED Summit is composed of educational/conference content, but also includes a tradeshow component known as CONDEX.
