RER 100

RER 100

What is the RER100?

The RER100 is a ranking, by revenue, of the 100 largest equipment rental companies in the United States and Canada. The RER100 is created annually and usually updates in the summer.

What else should you know?

“RER” stands for “Rental Equipment Register”, the parent editorial brand which annually publishes the RER100.

The RER100’s primary ranking is on annualized revenue and breaks down revenue into two components:

  • Rental Volume, in Millions
  • Total Volume, in Millions

Rankings descend from the highest revenue in the list.

The RER100 is a critical information tool used to understand relative dynamics and trends in the rental market. Possibly most importantly, it makes clear the relative trends of the top national companies, more specifically ‘the Nationals‘. Additionally, it’s a great qualification tool for anyone looking to do business with the larger rental companies.

The RER100 is gated content and requires field entry to download. Below are direct links to recent editions:

Knowing and understanding the health of a potential rental supplier is a critical part of the rental resourcing process for contractors.
